Kadima (6th-8th Grade) Fun in the Sun

Tuesday, May 28th from 5-6:30pm

Drop off outside of the Green Lake Community Center and pick up at Ben & Jerry’s (7900 E Green Lake Dr. N)

Join us for our last Kadima (6th-8th grade youth group) event for this year- activities, ice cream, and hanging out at Green Lake! We will meet on Tuesday, May 28th, from 5-6:30 at Green Lake community center. After some fun activities by the lake, we will walk to Ben & Jerry’s to get some ice cream. Please send your kid with some money to pay for their ice cream. Pick up will be from Ben & Jerry’s, ( 7900 E Green Lake Dr N).

Noam will be traveling to Green Lake by bus from at 4:30pm CBS- let us know if you’d prefer your child to take the bus instead of being dropped off at the lake.

NOW for all 2nd-5th graders! You are invited to join Rachel and Noam for a fun evening of campfire cooking.  We will learn how to make our own pita and other items for a yummy dinner.

As our year together comes to a close, we invite all 6th-8th graders to come say goodbye to Tal and celebrate the end of the school year and start of summer. What better way to celebrate summer then with frozen yogurt! Meet Tal and Noah at Menchies in the U Village- May 31st from 5pm-6:30pm.  You can stop by or plan to stay for the whole time. Remember to bring some money to purchase your sweet treat!


Kadima Luau

Join Kadima for our Pacific island bash on Sunday, February 11th from 5pm to 7:30pm at Beth Shalom. We’ll be doing art projects, playing games, dancing, and, of course, eating delicious Polynesian food! RSVP and pay below; the cost is $8 in advance or $10 day of.

Are you the next Masterchef? How are your Israeli cooking skills? Let’s put them to the test when we try to recreate one of Amit’s famous dishes! And it’s just in time for Yom Ha’atzmaut!


We will be celebrating the end of Pesach in a traditional Moroccan Mimouna party with Moroccan food and music. Amit Komidi, our Shinshinit, will be cooking up a feast of her family’s Morrocan favorites. All are welcome.
