Back by popular demand! Get ready for this pre-Passover delicious fun! Last year we did a chocolate seder, this year we will do a candy one. This event is open to all 2nd-5th graders. No sign up or registration required, just come ready to participate!

Seattle Recreative is one of my favorite places in Seattle! Let’s spend the afternoon creating artwork there with our CBS friends.

Hey 2nd-5th Graders! Let’s hangout with friends new and old, watch a movie, and have some delicious popcorn.  No sign up needed; just join us in the Beit Midrash. Let us know if you’d like to request a particular movie!


All 4th and 5th graders are invited to join us after Religious School for a yummy homemade dinner and games with the CBS Shinshinim! This event will be in the CBS Social Hall. See you there!


All 2nd and 3rd graders are invited to join Rachel, Mor, and Abaye at the Burke Museum (4300 15th Ave NE) for some special winter themed activities including:

  • Let it snow! Make a paper snowflakes to take home or decorate our winter scene.
  • Use our winter-themed activity sheet to learn about how local animals survive the cold winter months.
  • Create an Ice Age holiday card for a loved one.
  • Ice Age themed play table with mammoths, mastodons, sloths, and tigers
  • Get up close to winter collections and speak with Burke researchers at Collections Open Door programs on weekends
  •  Experience the frigid waters of the arctic and see how arctic animals have adapted to handle these extreme conditions with a blubber glove experiment.

In celebrate of Yom Ha’aztmaut, our shinshinit, Noam, will be running a special game of Maccabiah for 4th and 5th graders. Hope you will come compete.
