MORE SHABBAT LEARNING
Enhancing Shabbat When You are Solo
Sunday Nov 19, 7-8:30 pm, in the Beit Midrash.
Do you find yourself making Shabbat alone (either because you live alone or none of your housemates or family make shabbat)? Doing Shabbat solo brings its own set of opportunities and challenges. Join for an evening of conversation sharing ideas to enhance your Shabbat when you are making it on your own with Rabbi Borodin and a few guest Beth Shalom presenters.
Building Confidence in Your Shabbat Practice
Thursday, November 30
7:30-9:00pm in the Beit Midrash
Want to get more serious about Shabbat but unsure where to begin? Self-conscious about your Hebrew skills (or lack thereof)? Feel like everyone else already knows what they’re doing?
Join us to learn from panelists who have charted their own Shabbat practices in adulthood, to ask your questions (they’re not embarrassing!), to get some tips and tricks about growing into a meaningful Shabbat practice.
