All services, minyanim, Shabbat and holidays, are egalitarian. Women and men participate equally in all services. All men are required to wear kippot for services; we encourage women to wear kippot, too. Anyone leading a service, reading Torah or coming on to the bimah for a Torah honor or aliyah is required to wear both a kippah and tallit.
The majority of our services are conducted in Hebrew and we use the Siddur Sim Shalom. We generally follow the triennial Torah reading cycle. We use the the Etz Hayim Chumash, which is approved by the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism and Rabbinical Assembly. We include the Imahot, the matriachs, in any communal repetition of the Amidah.
