Allyson Schrier, recipient of a 2020 Maude’s Awards for Innovation in Alzheimer’s Care, Program Manager for the University of Washington’s Project: ECHO Dementia, and founder of Zinnia TV is committed to improving the lives of people with a dementia diagnosis and their care partners. One way she accomplishes this is by helping friends and family understand what dementia is (and is not), and by exploring ways to support and communicate compassionately with the people in their lives who are living with dementia. She is looking forward to sharing this and more with us during this interactive discussion.
