with Carl Sayres and Rabbi Kurland (Offsite)
Unetaneh Tokef is the liturgical climax of the High Holidays. Its haunting poetry and music fill us with dread as we measure our lives and consider our fragile mortality. But are our deeds, however righteous, truly connected to our fate? A modern worshiper might not believe that. Through an exploration of texts and music, both modern and traditional, we will explore the poetry of Unetaneh Tokef and try to find meanings that resonate with us.

7:30 PM – Community Break-Fast Meal
10:15 – 11:45 AM – Young Family Service with Rabbi Kurland (for kids 5 and under and their families)
10:15 – 11:30 AM – Family Service (for grade school kids & their families)
10:15 – 11:30 AM – Alternative quiet activities (Grade school)
11:45 – Noon – Snack for young kids
12:00 – 12:30 PM – Activities for kids 2-5 and grade school kids
12:00 – 1:00 PM Middle School and High School programs
5:55 – 7:10 PM – Kids Activities (grade school)
