Participatory Budgeting: Towards True Community Safety

June 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join the Coalition of Anti-Racist Whites and Beth Shalom to learn about participatory budgeting, a process where citizens decide together how to spend public money. The Black Brilliance Research Project (BBRP) spent the last 8 months researching what creates true community safety to inform the $30 million Black-led participatory budgeting process. This workshop will share more about BBRP’s process, and how to get involved and support it as a Seattle community member. Friends and family welcome!
