Memory, Meaning, and Moving On with Endless Opportunities
November 2, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm
As a member of the millennial generation and the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Rabbi Paula Rose will reflect on the ways in which the Jewish community copes with and responds to the last century of Jewish history. Together we will think about how those personal and communal memories inform our lives, and about different models of how we use them to make sense of who we are. Through stories, reflection, and conversation, we will explore together the balance between memorializing, moving on, and searching for meaning as each generation faces the history of its predecessors.
