Introduction to Talmud: Passages on Prayer

We’ll learn how to learn Talmud, and learn a lot about Jewish prayer along the way. Learners of all backgrounds welcome, but this class is especially geared for those who are new to the Talmud. Much of the text and discussion will focus on how the rabbis conceived of prayer, and has real implications for what our own prayer looks like.

This class will meet on Tuesday nights, 1/16 through 2/13 (5 sessions) from 7-8pm.
