Chassidic Teachings from Netivot Shalom

November 28, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until December 5, 2017

$20 – $30

with Rabbi Fern Feldman.

We will learn from the series Netivot Shalom, written by the Slonimer rebbe, R. Sholom Noach Berezovsky. Living in Israel in the 20th century, the Slonimer rebbe integrated Chasidic teachings from a wide range of traditions and eras, in clear and accessible Hebrew. One of the foundational ideas in his work is that each person is a microcosm of the world, so teachings illuminate not only broader spiritual concepts, but also help us consider our own lives.  All learning levels encouraged to attend.
Fall dates 11/28 and 12/5 we will learn from the Slonimer rebbe’s teachings on Chanukah, as preparation for a deeper experience of the holiday.

Winter & Spring (dates TBA) we will focus on his teachings on Shabbat, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot and Pirke Avot.

Dates: 11/28 & 12/5, 8:15-9:15 pm
