Shabbat Service 9:30-12:15pm

Weekday minyan will meet in the Beit Midrash, unless otherwise specified on the Calendar. Please note that minyan does not meet on Festival days.

On the following federal holidays minyan begins at 9:00am: Thanksgiving, December 25th, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Festival Services are from 9:30 – 12:30pm (unless otherwise stated): Sukkot, Shemini Atzeret, Passover and Shavuot

The Jewish Day begins at sunset of the previous day. For this reason, Shabbat begins on Friday evening and ends with the appearance of the stars on Saturday evening.

Kabbalat Shabbat Services

Though for most of the year Kabbalat Shabbat services begin around 6pm, we change the start time depending on the season.  Please see our calendar for the most up to date information on Kabbalat Shabbat service times, or contact our office, 206-524-0075.  If you would like weekly reminders about the Kabbalat Shabbat service times, please contact Kim Schulze to be added to the email list.

Learner’s Minyan

10:30-11:15am on the 4th Shabbat of the month with Robert Hovden
The congregation offers a monthly learning service for adults on Shabbat mornings.  The aim of the Learner’s Minyan is to make the traditional service more accessible.  The purpose is to deepen your understanding of Jewish prayer and liturgy.  Hebrew reading skills are desirable, but not essential.  Come just once, or come every month!  Please bring your siddur to Learner’s Minyan or you can use one from the lobby. For more information, contact our Program Director.

Contemplative Minyan

Chanting – Silent Meditation – Guided Meditation – Familiar and New Tunes and Words
We offer contemplative services throughout the year on Shabbat and holidays.
For more information, contact our Program Director.
